Our Retreat Centre is nestled in the lush rainforests of the ancient Koonyum Range. Though you will feel fully secluded on our 50 acres with creeks, panoramic views to the ocean and stunning escarpments, we are conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Mullumbimby in the Byron Bay Shire, one of the main spiritual hearts of the state.

The Centre has a number of outside seating areas nestled amidst manicured gardens, ponds, water fountains and walkways that are perfect for your own private meditation zones. Though it will be darkened for 3 of our days, the main event temple where we meet is an exquisite sacred space for holding us in heightened states and amplifying the power of our practices together.
Nature is perfectly balanced with the exotic architecture and enhanced with sacred statues from 5 different spiritual cultures. You will feel the 18 years of devotion that our property owner has poured into making this Shambhala portal for you to step into and exit your every day reality. We have 4 rooms for single accommodation and 2 rooms that will be for double accommodations.
Our Retreat Centre is located in the general Byron Region at the top of New South Wales. Just 20 minutes from the ocean, yet tucked deep away in the hinterlands, our unique biodiversity will enchant and support the melting away of thoughts, stress and distractions in order to discover the enchanted garden within you.
Full price for your 6-Day Darkness Immersion is $2150 to $2700 AUD according to your room choice. Options to stay longer, before or after, may be available as well.

Sacred Sense Catering
We are delighted to have Sacred Sense Catering for our culinary bliss. Sacred Sense inspires connection to our natural state of being through a delicious wholefood culinary journey that awakens the senses. They foster creation of regenerative living culture, sourcing local organic produce from food forests which nourish us and our earth. Founder and Creatress Bebe will be bringing all her gifts and years of experience to the table for us. You will receive 3 meals a day, tailored towards light detox simple meals that will support your Darkness experience.

Day 3-4:
Immersion in total darkness in your room, with 2 optional two-hour group sessions within each day
Day 5:
3 pm : EMERGE FROM DARKNESS
5:30 – 7 pm : Dinner
7 – 9 pm : Special Ceremony
Day 6:
8:30 – 10 am : Breakfast
10 – 12:30 pm : Session #1
12:30 – 2 pm : Lunch
2 – 4 pm : Closing ceremony on the bluff
4 pm – 6 pm : Departure
During break time, you will have opportunities for your own deep contemplation, exploring our majestic land, a session from our massage therapist, and synchronous connections with your fellow participants.
For those traveling from farther away
If you are flying in, we recommend the Gold Coast (OOL), which is about an hour north of our retreat. Alternatively, Ballina Airport is only 45 minutes away, but doesn’t serve all cities. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for any support in arranging your arrival. We also recommend that you arrive at least a day early to the area, since we begin at 10:30 a.m. on the first day. Our retreat center may have available accommodations for the evening before Day 1 and the evening of our final Day 6, which will finish at 4 pm.
